The many classically designed Baroque buildings climb up the sides of three hills and feature sweeping views in every direction. While ornate decorations may be what we think of with Baroque architecture, it is actually an adherence to the simple oval that defines the design. Using a balance of curves and counter curves, the masters created a motif that establishes beauty, simplicity, and movement. The feet of the crib are also defined by a delicate curve that runs along the bottom of the piece. On the headboard there are strong straight lines that travel down from the curve almost seeming to hold that delicate detail in the air.
